Patient Transport Services

Non-emergency patient transport services provide transport to and from NHS services for people who have a medical need for it.

In south Essex, non-emergency patient transport is provided by East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) and Thames Ambulance Services Limited (TASL) for patients with a medical need. You can find out more about the service provide by EEAST on their website:

This service uses a wide range of vehicle types and levels of care that are consistent with the patients’ medical needs.
